Amazing Seasun Games just showed off a space station worth of content that will be coming to its upcoming multiplayer mech game Mecha Break post-launch. Those exciting updates include:
- New customization options for mechs and pilots
- Explorable space stations complete with a hangar
- Tactical command center
- Private living quarters with a cafeteria, bar, and gym
- Shooting range where you can practice your pilot’s aim outside of the cockpit
According to Amazing Seasun CEO Kris Kwok, the shooting range will give players a sneak peak into a new pilot combat game mode that the team is working on. In this mode, you’ll be able to exit your mech’s cockpit and engage enemies, which gives off serious Titanfall vibes. The goal is to continue to develop Mecha Break as a hybrid mech and infantry combat simulator.
Mecha Break was originally announced back during The Game Awards in 2023. It is being described by the developers as “a love letter to the mech fantasy and all of the games within it.”
Mecha Break launched its open beta phase earlier this year, and will release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) in 2025. It is currently available to wishlist on Steam.
Anyone attending New York Comic Con this week can also get an exclusive look at the game by visiting booth 1453 on the show floor. At the booth, you can play the official demo, paint your very own mech, and even experience an augmented reality station that puts your face on the body of a Striker pilot.
