Masters of Albion Release Date Announced, Gameplay Showcased

Developer 22cans has officially announced that Masters of Albion will launch on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 18:00 BST, exclusively on PC via Steam.

Masters of Albion is a game that features unique blend of cozy creativity by day and brutal survival by night. More importantly, it’ll be legendary game creator Peter Molyneux’s final game.

Below you can check out a few screenshots and a new trailer with gameplay.

Peter Molyneux is best known as the creator the Fable series, as well as notorious god games Populous, Dungeon Keeper, and Black & White, just to name a few. The final title in his illustrious career is set to take inspiration from all those games, blending gameplay mechanics from strategy with simulation and town management with defense and give players the power and freedom to create.

The game’s setting, Albion, is a land shaped by the hands of heroes. Players join during one of its most crucial period, as its lords and luminaries have pulled the society into a new age of manufacturing and production, a golden era, an industrial revolution, though a painful past of magic and mayhem lurks, threatening to drag Albion back into a dark age of mysticism.

Players will be able to shape the world from above as a god or step directly into it by possessing heroes, workers, animals and more. Gameplay elements include everything from building to exploring to tower defense, as you can see detailed below:

Masters of Albion is available now Steam to Wishlist ahead of its release on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. For more information on this and other similar titles, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
