NetEase Games has revealed the patch notes for Marvel Rivals Version 20251212, detailing the events, costumes, and more coming with the start of Season 5.5.
As previously revealed, Season 5.5 will start with Version 20251212, which will introduce Rogue and the lore surrounding her entry to the game. Part of this includes her search for Gambit.
On release, there will be a Savage South Bundle, a Savage South Emoji Bundle, and a Searing Heart Bundle, which include her first costumes. At the same time, a Rocket of the Rafters Bundle will be available for Rocket Raccoon.
A new event is also coming with Version 20251212, Seeds Of The Gardener. This event gives players missions to complete, rewarding them with both free and paid rewards. The free costume that will be available is Mark I for Iron Man, though the premium version of the mission offers Iron Fist’s Shenloong Champion costume and Captain America’s Capwolf costume.
There will also be improvements to the Spectator System, such as a toggle for displaying teams’ banned heroes and the option to disable spectator UI. Several characters are also getting their own Take A Seat emote, including Rogue, Storm, Iron Man, Ultron, Mister Fantastic, and Spider-Man.
Several events and store items are getting extensions. Jeff’s Break Time and Van Dyne’s Grand Opening will be available until January 1, 2026. Additionally, the following store items will be available until January 2, 2026:
- New Millennia Might Bundle for Magik
- Bleeker Street Strut Bundle for Doctor Strange
- Gummy Surprise Bundle for Venom
- Restful Recovery Bundle for Blade
Players will also be able to get new Twitch Drops starting with the release of Season 5.5 and January 9, 2026, including the Will of Galacta costume for Iron Fist.
This season’s Rank Reward is a Queen’s Defense costume for Rogue, which players can get by hitting Gold during the ranked season.

Marvel Rivals Version 20251212 will be available on December 12, 2025, at 9 am UTC. The patch update is estimated to take two hours on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
