NetEase Games has revealed the patch notes for Marvel Rivals Version 20250918, which dropped earlier today and brought the hit Summer Special Volume Two skins and more fixes and adjustments.
First, the Summer Special Volume Two has been released. The volume has free rewards for players and Premium rewards for those who buy the upgraded pass. They include the following:
- Premium: Mantis – Oceanic Harmony
- Premium: Human Torch – Sunny Sizzler
- Free: The Thing – Rocky Tide
- Free and Premium emotes
A few new cosmetics are now in the store, including the Invisible Woman – Azure Shade Bundle and The Punisher – Aqua Arsenal Bundle.
Additionally, players can get a Volleyball Bash group emote combo bundle for free. To do so, players need to log in and claim it between September 19, 2025 (2 am UTC) and September 22, 2025 (2 am UTC).
Marvel Rivals Version 20250918 also introduces personalized chat channels, where players can edit their own font color and use special characters and emojis. The replay system will also show more detailed hero statistics across the board.
A few bugs and fixes were adjusted, with the following characters all being tweaked:
- Loki: His Mischievous Metamorphosis ability no longer has a bug where he’d be revived as Adam Warlock.
- Ultron: HIs attacks fire more accurately from the center of his palm instead of off-centered.
- Luna Snow: Her ultimate ability has more polished animations. Next patch, this will also hit her Cool Summer costume.
Other fixes include changes to when Substitute players can be added to Quick Match and Arcade modes, odd hero displays on Career pages, problems with battle Stat Highlights, and the removal of Squad text chat for solo players.
Additionally, Angela’s head size has been reduced in Giant-Size Brain Blast.
