NetEase has revealed the patch notes and balance changes ahead of Marvel Rivals Version 20250619, including new events, skins, and hero buffs and nerfs.
Marvel Rivals Version 20250619 will see the Venom’s Bubble Pop limited-time event, featuring a free Human Torch costume, Future Foundation.
Players who have the Premium edition can also complete the missions to win the Pink Bubble costume for Venom. Players with Premium will have access to the missions until they’ve claimed all the rewards, too.

Two new costumes are also coming to the shop: Iron Fist – Binary Fist and Moon Knight – Phoenix Knight.
There aren’t too many hero balance adjustments coming with Version 20250619 since Season 2.5 just started last patch. So far, it seems like NetEase is happy with how most of the heroes are performing. The changes that are being made are as follows:
- Thor: Awakening Rune can be manually canceled after being cast
- Moon Knight: Base health increase (250 to 275)
- Star-Lord: Maximum damage falloff at 25 meters increase (60% to 65%)
- Storm: Ultimate energy cost increase (3100 to 2400)
Additionally, a few Team-Up Abilities are getting adjusted. These include the following:
- Chilling Assault (Luna Snow – Hawkeye): Hawkeye’s power will be reduced, changing the damage from 30 (120 max at 30m) to 25 (100 max at 30m), as well as reducing the stun duration on enemies hit at 30 m (1.5s to 0.8s) and the Spell Field Damage range (3m to 1m)
- Jaff-nado (Storm – Jeff the Land Shark): Jeff will take longer to devour enemies (1.2s to 1.5s)
- Rocket Network (Rocket Raccoon – Peni Parker): Rocket Raccoon’s Armored Spider-Next takes longer to cool down (20s to 30s)
Several bugs are also being fixed, including some found in Wolverine, Mister Fantastic, Hulk, Black Widow, and Ultron.
To top it all off, there are a few Twitch drops through the update, and they’ll include the Will of Galacta costume for Magik.
Marvel Rivals Version 20250619 will be released on June 19, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The new version won’t require downtime for the update, so players won’t need to download anything.
