Marvel Rivals Version 20250530 patch notes have arrived, detailing the new costumes, events, new features, and more.
Last week, NetEase revealed the balance changes to heroes and Team-Up Abilities. Now, the official patch notes are here, detailing the rest of what’s coming on May 30.
To start with, Version 20250530 will see a new hero, Ultron, and a new map, Hellfire Gala: Arakko. Ultron is the first flying Support character in the game, and he’s coming to the game lore-wise as he crashes the Hellfire Gala. Now, after merging with Cerebro, players are chasing the villain to Arakko.
Several new costumes are coming, including Groot – Yggroot, Ultron – X-Tron, and Ultron – Mechanical Phantom. Players will also get a chance to earn Hawkeye – Binary Arrow for free through the Cerebro Database 2 event.
Emma Frost is also getting a new skin as a Twitch Drop: Emma Frost – Will of Galacta. Players can tune into their favorite Marvel Rivals streamers on Twitch from May 30 to June 27 to earn a variety of rewards.
This version will also see new rank rewards. Players that reach Gold or higher will receive Ulton – Golden Ultron, as well as new Crests of Honor for those in Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity, and the top 500 players.

There are several new and updated features coming to Marvel Rivals with Version 20250530 as well, and the patch notes detail them a bit. First, a new mood system will let others know how you’re feeling. This will be an icon that players can add to their nameplate. To go with this, a Chibi Jeff mood icon bundle will be in the store.
There are also new bubble emojis that players can use in combat, and Nameplates are getting an updated look. The Career System is also letting players showcase more of their content and stats that they want to share. Other features include the following:
- Team lobbies will have a Recommendation feature
- Hero Selection wheel will have Lord avatars
- New Tournament Rooms and Custom Games (complete with a Spectator System)
Additionally, players will have access to limited-time Combat Chests. Combat Chests are tied to player levels, and they include costumes, Mood Icons, emojis, and more. Players can unlock Premium Combat Chests as well, which are better versions of the Combat Chests that are available permanently.
The official patch notes for Marvel Rivals Version 20250530 also detail a variety of bug fixes and performance enhancements. Players can check them out here.
