Marvel Rivals Season Four: Heart of the Dragon starts tomorrow with Version 20250912, and the new season comes with a brand-new battle pass, character, costumes, and more.
The biggest shake-up of Marvel Rivals Season Four: Heart of the Dragon is the introduction of Angela, the new Vanguard. The angel from Asgard will have three costumes available in the shop: Skuld 2099 (also a bundle) and Cerulean Lightbringer. There will also be an emoji bundle for her.
The new battle pass will bring 10 costumes with it, too, including those for Loki, Luna Snow, and Jean Grey. Like always, the battle pass will have other fun cosmetic items and currency available. The theme of the battle pass is Fruit of Immortality.
New stories and lore are also coming to show the new season’s ideas off, including the following:
- New Serial: Heart of the Dragon
- New Angela Lore: Her Sister’s Keeper
- New Iron Fist Lore: One True Champion
- New Loki Lore: Destined for Doom
The event of the season is The Scroll of the Immortal Beasts, where players can earn the Wasteland Robot costume for Ultron.
Of course, a new Ranked Season will begin, which means players will see their ranks reset and lowered by seven divisions. For Season Four, players who reach Gold will receive the divine Angela Siriana’s Silver costume. Those who reach Diamond/Platinum will get a new Namplate Frame, and those in Grandmaster/Celestial/Eternity/Top 500 will get new Crests for Honor.
Ranked isn’t the only mode that’s getting adjusted. There’s a brand-new Arcade Mode Hub that’s being added. This will be a hot spot with more choices than ever before, bringing back modes like Clone Rumble and Giant-Size Brain Blast.
There will also be new modes like Conquest (Annihilation) and Free Fight, along with other modes like regular Conquest and Doom Match. Players can enjoy any of the Arcade Modes with any number of friends on their team.
Additionally, players can earn Hero Proficiency in Arcade Modes, though there is a daily limit.
There are also a few more adjustments, fixes, and new systems that will be introduced tomorrow. These include the ability to randomize hero costumes, a walk feature for PC, and more. Players can check out the full Patch Notes here.

Marvel Rivals Season Four: Heart of the Dragon will launch tomorrow, September 12, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The update will begin at 9 am UTC, and maintenance is expected to last two to three hours.
