To start with, the infamous Daredevil is joining the lineup as a Duelist. Players knew he was coming after his appearance in the Season Four trailer fighting Angela, and now his kit has been revealed.

Dardevil can pick a target to prioritize, jumping to them in combat to get close. He can also use the Beast’s power to strengthen his attacks. When he uses his Ultimate, the Beast is fully unleashed, and enemies are basically given nearsight, limiting the field of what they can see as black fog covers everything else.

Players who have Disney+ can link their accounts and unlock a skin for him. This will be an exclusive skin from October 10, 2025, to January 8, 2026.

Players can check out the Daredevil trailer below to see these moves in action:

Another new thing coming in Season 4.5 is the introduction of cross-platform progression. This will first be available to a small group of pre-determined players to test it, whereas everyone will be able to utilize it in Season Five.

So far, NetEase Games has explained that rank and leaderboard positions will be separate for each platform, as well as their career battle stats. Cross-progression may be a way for players to share skins across platforms and contribute to the battle pass on any platform. For now, NetEase has assured players that the highly requested feature is a top priority.

Team-Up abilities are also getting adjusted in Season 4.5, and they’re as follows:

  • Removed Ragnarok Rebirth (Hela/Thor)
  • Removed Namor from Gamma Charge (Hulk/Black Panther)
  • Added Bestial Hunt (Daredevil/The Punisher)
  • Deep Wrath (Hela/Namor)

Invisible Woman and Angela are also getting minor adjustments. Players can read about these, and a few other fixes, here.

Season 4.5 will also see a special Halloween event and themed costumes. There will also be a new game mode, with more details about it to come at the Thailand Game Show on October 17.

Marvel Rivals Season 4.5: Heart of the Dragon is releasing on October 10, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
