Manor Lords Celebrates 3 Million Copies Sold Across All Platforms

Manor Lords

Back in April 2024, Manor Lords crossed a couple of impressive thresholds for copies sold, hitting a million sales in just 48 hours and a second million just three weeks later. Today, developer Slavic Magic revealed that the early access simulation title is still on the up and up, as it has just crossed the 3 million units sold mark across all platforms.

Manor Lords became a hit with fans upon its debut, thanks to its heavy importance placed on realistic warfare based on 14th-century tactics.

The colony sim is set in Franconia and features three different game modes: Manor Lords, titled Rise to Prosperity, Restoring the Peace, and On the Edge. While each mode has its own unique focus, they all center around raising settlements, gathering and managing resources, and expanding trade networks to make a thriving and cohesive ecosystem.

Such a heavy emphasis on historical accuracy means that players must juggle the same issues lords faced back in the day. This includes managing six taxation types and balancing growth with environmental effects such as weather and the possibility of environmental degradation, like soil exhaustion and deforestation.

Slavic Magic has continued to build upon these gameplay elements as the early access portion of Manor Lords’ development continues. Just last month, the fourth major update was released, reworking cliff design elements, adding bridge building, and much more.

Manor Lords is currently available in early access for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store for $39.99.
