League of Legends 2025 Season 2 Act 2 has started with Patch 25.13, and the updates range from Champion changes and new ARAM features to more reporting categories and new shop previews.
Some of the most important information of each League of Legends patch is the Champion changes, and Patch 25.13 has several of these. While most of these lie in Buffs and Nerfs, Briar is being adjusted a bit to make her feel better to play. Some of this looks like bug removal, while others are small changes meant to help players use her kit correctly and smoothly.

When it comes to Champion changes, the following Champions have been adjusted:
- Buffs:
- Fiddlesticks: W has increased additional AP% damage
- Gangplank: Q mana cost and R cooldown decreased
- Irelia: Better early game scaling on her passive
- Kindred: R cooldown decreased
- Nidalee: Q damage increased
- Rammus: base health increased, and bonus armor and magic resist from W now scales
- Nerfs:
- Ryze: W damage decreased, and mana cost increased
- Twisted Fate: R cooldown increased
- Vi: passive shield percentage of max HP decreased
- Yorick: base armor decreased
It’s important to note that several of these changes are made specifically with MSI in mind. Official League of Legends tournaments run a patch behind from the start.
Along with the changes for Champions on Summoner’s Rift, a massive ARAM update is part of Patch 25.13.
The ARAM changes have a few different parts to them. First, the map will rotate between three different looks: Howling Abyss, Koeshin’s Crossing, and Butcher’s Bridge. While most of this is just cosmetic, there are slight terrain differences on each.

Rerolls have also been changed. Now, players will instantly choose between two Champions (and occasionally three). Those that aren’t selected will go on the bench, giving all the players on the team a chance to pick them up.
There were also changes specifically made to Champions when playing ARAM. These Champions include Mel, Rengar, Shaco, Singed, Udyr, Vayne, Volibear, and Yasuo.
Other highlights of League of Legends Patch 25.13 include the following:
- The return of Arena, which will stay for 12 months
- Battle Pass improvements that give players more choice in how and when they earn BXP
- New reporting categories, like Rank Manipulation and Disruptive Gameplay (instead of Intentional Feeding)
- Client Shop Skin Previews will be available for some players and specific skins as it begins testing

Of course, the upcoming skins is also a highlight of League of Legends’ patches, and there are several new Spirit Blossom skins coming with Patch 25.13. These add Zed, Morgana, Akali, Hwei, Nidalee, Karma, and Kayle to the skin line.
