KPop Demon Hunters debuted on Netflix earlier this year on June 20, 2025, quickly becoming the most-watched original title in Netflix history with 325 million views, and reaching number one and top-ten positions on multiple music and streaming charts, while also becoming the first film soundtrack on the Billboard Hot 100 to have four of its songs in the top 10.

If you’re unfamiliar with Fortnite, it started as a Battle Royale game with building elements, and it’s currently available on all platforms besides iOS outside of Europe. It has been undergoing a radical evolution from a single game to a Metaverse, with several other experiences like Lego Fortnite Odyssey, Fortnite Festival, and more, on top of user-created islands created by players and even institutions.

They’ve also had a multitude of collaborations with big-name IPs, including fellow Netflix series Squid Game, The Walking Dead, and Godzilla, just to name a few. For more information on this and other crossover events coming to the game, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily.
