Today, Plaion and Warhorse Studios unveiled the roadmap for the release of their highly anticipated medieval RPG sequel, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which is set to release next month for console and PC. A full year of content has already been planned for player’s new journey to 15th-century Bohemia, with Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter each getting their own exciting new features and improvements.
In Spring, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will get a few free updates, including barbers, a hardcore mode, and horse racing. Each update that follows will be based around a story-driven DLC, which you can see detailed alongside the roadmap trailer below:
- Summer: Brushes with Death – Embark on a thrilling quest as Henry aids an enigmatic artist with a shadowy past. Journey across the lands of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, facing perilous encounters and unravelling a web of dangerous schemes.
- Autumn: Legacy of the Forge – Dive into Henry’s roots by exploring the legacy of Martin, his adoptive father. Work to restore a once-renowned forge and prove your skills in the art of blacksmithing as you uncover forgotten tales of the past.
- Winter: Mysteria Ecclesia – Enter the Sedlec Monastery, where intrigue runs deep. Tasked with a covert mission, Henry must navigate the complex dynamics of the region, discovering hidden truths and navigating a maze of conflicting interests.
Warhorse Studios also promised to keep an eye out for fan feedback for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. In doing so, the developers hope to be able to add in as many quality of life updates as necessary to further enhance the game experience.
