Frontier Developments has revealed what’s coming in Update 1.2 of Jurassic World Evolution 3, including a few updates and new user experience changes.
To start with, a new environment brush, the Cypress Swamp Brush, is coming to Tropical and Temperate biomes. This new brush adds Cypress Trees, which gives off a mysterious, misty look.
Not only do these make for a nice aesthetic, but they also make a great place to take suspenseful pictures.
Update 1.2 will also include new biomes to choose from with the Island Generator, adding Temperate, Desert, and Mediterranean.
The Island Generator is also getting a slider that lets players adjust how big the beaches and cliffs are. Additionally, players will be able to edit and build right up to the water, so these beaches can become new park areas.
Last but not least are a few changes to enhance the user experience. These include a new Blueprints menu, a Copy Path Style command to easily create more pathways, and a heatmap that shows Obstructions. The heatmap will let players see how easy it is for guests and dinosaurs to navigate around parks and enclosures.
There will also be plenty of stability improvements and bug fixes, which will be discussed in more detail when Update 1.2 goes live.
