Frontier Developments has released Update 1.1.0 for Jurassic World Evolution 3, bringing back the Kentrosaurus and implementing improvements and bug fixes.
Last week, Frontier Developments revealed that Update 1.1.0 would be coming to Jurassic World Evolution 3. Several of the major details about the update were released then, including the reintroduction of the Kentrosaurus.
The Kentrosaurus is a dinosaur from Jurassic World Evolution 2. Bringing the dinosaur as a family unit to the newest installment of the game is part of the initiative to bring a dinosaur from the second game to the third every month for free. This will continue until January 2026, meaning that there are two more dinosaurs coming that players can look forward to in the base game.
There’s also the chance that more dinosaurs could be brought to the game later, but they may come with an additional cost.
For now, players can check out the new Kentrosaurus trailer below. It’s also been added to the Dinosaur Database, where players can find more information on the species.
Of course, Update 1.1.0 includes several changes, including the following:
- Dinos can explore under scenery items more easily
- Keyboard shortcuts have been added for in-game hints when decorating
- New Visual settings (and improved visuals) for PC players
- Juvenile dinos won’t be hunted in sandbox maps, no matter the species
- New guest animations for scattering food
Players can check out the entire patch notes, including general changes as well as bug fixes, here.
Jurassic World Evolution 3 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
