Jurassic World Evolution 3 Reveals the Lokiceratops

Jurassic World Evolution 3 Lokiceratops

Today, Frontier Developments revealed one of the dinosaurs that will be available in its upcoming Jurassic World management sim, Jurassic World Evolution 3, the Lokiceratops.

While perhaps not famous among horned dinosaurs as the classic Triceratops, this recently-discovered  Late Cretaceous ceratopsid (it was first found in 2019) fills a similar niche.

It’s social and fond of living with other herbivores, especially if they are other ceratopsids. It values family and protects its young from possible threats, and it enjoys having wetlands and covers in its enclosures.

If you’re curious to see what it looks like, you can check out the trailer below and marvel at the Lokiceratops’ innate cuteness.

Incidentally, this is the first trailer of its kind from Frontier, but considering that there are still several months before release, we’re likely to see more soon.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 was revealed recently at Summer Game Fest, and it’s coming for PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows Store), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 21.

It’s the third installment of a popular series of management sims derived from Universal’s Jurassic World series, which debuted with the original Jurassic World Evolution in 2018, followed by the sequel in 2021.

This new game promises a whopping 80 species of dinosaurs and a new campaign with the return of Jeff Goldblum voicing Dr. Ian Malcolm. It’ll also include new locations like Japan.

Considering the fact that the latest movie, Jurassic World Rebirth, appears to have launched very successfully, this game will probably offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy the franchise in a more interactive way.
