JDM: Japanese Drift Master Announces New Partnership With Honda

JDM: Japanese Drift Master

JDM: Japanese Drift Master has signed a licensing agreement with legendary car brand Honda. The deal will bring a catalog of iconic cars to the upcoming drift racing sim, though an exact list of which cars will be included has yet to be revealed.

Honda is one of the largest automobile brands in the world, with a lot of models considered good for drifting due to their balanced handling and good power delivery. JDM: Japanese Drift Master is an open-world drift racing sim set in Japan, putting players in the shoes of a foreigner going overseas to make it big in the drifting world.

To succeed, you’ll need to manage your cars accordingly, picking the best car for the best track from a handful of different brands. Alongside Honda, the racing sim will feature a garage-load of iconic cars and brands, including Nissan, Subura, and Mazda.

JDM: Japanese Drift Master is set to launch on March 26th, 2025, though a price point has not yet to been revealed by developer Gaming Factory. While waiting for its release, be sure to check out the prologue, JDM: Rise of Scorpion, available now on Steam.

The prologue follows Hatori “Scorpion” Hatashi, one of the best racers in Japan, and tells its story through manga panels, including an opening that pays homage to the king of anime and manga drifting, Initial D.
