iRacing 2025 Season 3 Update Released With New Cars, New Track, Nascar Refresh, and More

iRacing 2025 Season 3

The developers of iRacing released the Season 3 update for 2025, and it comes with plenty of new content and improvements.

We get three new cars, the Gen 4 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and Ford Taurus for Nascar, on top of the Ferrari 296 Challenge.

A new track has also been added, and it’s the Shell V Power Motorsport Park at The Bend in Tailem Bend, Australia.

Nascar fans are also getting a pretty massive refresh with 12 tracks that received overhauls ranging from a full redesign to art changes.

These are Richmond Raceway with a fully new rendition, a repaved Iowa Speedway, on top of Echo Park Speedway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Lime Rock Park, Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, Martinsville Speedway, Michigan International Speedway, Nashville Superspeedway, Phoenix Raceway, Pocono Raceway, and Talladega Superspeedway.

You can find the full changelog below, on top of a look at the new Nascar cars.

If you’re unfamiliar with iRacing, it’s a subscription-based, esports-focused racing simulation platform on PC considered by many to be one of the most realistic in the industry. It features precisely simulated cars and LIDAR-scanned tracks that reproduce their real counterparts, making it popular among many real racing drivers who use it for training.

It’s also an attractive esports platform as it features racing regulations closely related to the ones used in real motorsports to create an online esports environment that feels as professional as possible, encouraging clean racing, racecraft, and fair play over winning or placing high in the rankings.

iRacing partners with several real-world racing series and organizations, including Nascar, IMSA, the FIA, and many more.

The company behind iRacing is also publishing the next Nascar game, Nascar 25, which will be released this fall for PC and consoles.
