The upcoming life sim, inZOI, has been delayed – however, the delay came with a solid release date, giving players something to look forward to.

Kingdom of Night Gets Console Release Date

Krafton’s life sim, inZOI, was originally supposed to be released in late 2024. There was no date, but fans expected it to come out before the end of the year. In a Discord message from a member of the dev team, it was announced that inZOI would be released in Early Access on March 28, 2025.

This decision comes after feedback from the game’s character creation demo earlier this year and feedback from playtests. The team wants to give inZOI “the best possible start,” which means pushing back the game and improving different areas.

The announcement reinforced the idea that inZOI will be a life sim that players can enjoy for years. This extra development time gives the team a chance to create a solid foundation to start from. This also means that players get a better first experience, as well.

In case you haven’t heard, inZOI is a promising upcoming life sim that many think could be a competitor for The Sims, which has long been the only major franchise in the genre. In inZOI, players will create highly-detailed characters and homes that live in a world full of other realistic characters that live life.

It’s high time for The Sims to get a solid competitor. Paradox’s Life By You was another promising example, but its decision to shut down only gives inZOI a larger place to shine. Hopefully, inZOI’s release date delay makes it that much better.
