Krafton has announced that inZOI will be getting its first DLC, Island Getaway, on August 20, bringing the island of Cahaya to players on the same day that gamescom 2025 kicks off.
The Island Getaway DLC has been teased a few times the past few months. Players first saw it earlier last month, and a concept trailer for it was released last week.
Krafton had already revealed that the Island Getaway DLC for inZOI would be revealed and playable at gamescom 2025. Now, players around the world will be able to experience it with those at gamescom as Cahaya is put in the hands of players on August 20.
The Island Getaway DLC opens up the map of Cahaya, which is based on the tropical islands in Southeast Asia. It includes two islands: a main island for relaxing day-to-day life and a resort island.
New gameplay features come with the map, such as farming, mining, gem crafting, snorkeling, swimming, and fishing. There will also be new vehicles, like motorcycles and electric scooters, and customization options, like tropical-themed clothes and hairstyles.
The Island Getaway DLC will also include more character interactions, like random meetings, cooperative actions with NPCs, and thought bubbles to further immerse players in the sim. Additionally, UI/UX improvements, gamepad support, and over 30 new music tracks are part of inZOI’s first DLC.
As a reminder, those who have purchased inZOI in early access will receive the Island Getaway DLC for free.
Despite only being in early access, inZOI has seen considerable success, so much so that Krafton recently praised the sim in its latest financials.
