Halloween is coming to inZOI with the v0.4.0 update, bringing new Halloween-themed festivities and cosmetics, a brand-new playable ghost mechanic, more Zoi interactions, and a plethora of improvements across nearly every area of the life sim.
To kick things off, Halloween is arriving to Dowon and Cahaya with pumpkins, jack-o’-lantern carving, trick or treat, and even ghost fish that come out at night. Of course, these fall festivities come with over 100 new cosmetics and outfits so that Zois can dress for the occasion. There’s also over 150 new building items to celebrate, too.
Ghosts are also making an appearance in inZOI v0.4.0. Zois will pass away, but their legacy doesn’t end there. Players can navigate through a Zois afterlife. This will last three in-game days, and then players can choose to ascend their Zoi or attend their funeral to put them to rest. In the future, a reincarnation feature will be added.
In those three days, ghosts can satisfy various urges that are related to their deaths. By doing so, ghosts can get special skills and unlock missions to learn about other ghosts in the area.
There are quite a few new interactions in inZOI update v0.4.0, too. These include interactions for newborns, toddlers, children, and teens, along with several new interactions with NPCs to create deeper relationships.
That’s not everything, either — there are several major changes to the daily gameplay loops. These include the following:
- 48-minute day cycle
- New Zoi traits and characteristics
- Better emotional reactions
- Karma improvements
