Krafton has revealed that it plans to show off the first DLC for inZOI at Gamescom 2025, which will include the brand-new map Cahaya.
Cahaya will be the third map in inZOI, and it’s based on tropical cities in Southeast Asia. The map is made up of two islands: a main island that’s geared towards island life and self-sustaining activities (farming, fishing, etc) and a resort island that’s focused on relaxation and a retreat from day-to-day life.
This isn’t the first time players have heard about Cahaya — last month, Krafton revealed that Cahaya would be coming in August. This was slightly different than the original plan of releasing a map called Kucingku.
Developer Kjun explained that the switch to Cahaya came in part because he wanted a retreat from developing inZOI. While developing the game has been a happy point in their life, it’s still a stressful job that Kjun has wanted to get a break from at times.
Cahaya will get its first trailer on August 19 during Gamescom 2025‘s Opening Night Live. There will also be an interactive booth during Gamescom 2025 where players will be able to drive into Cahaya and experience new activities around the map.
Krafton has revealed a trailer for Gamescom 2025, though it includes the other games the publisher is planning to show off at the event. These include PUBG: Battlegrounds and PUBG: Blindspot, but players can get a few glimpses of Cahaya in the short trailer below:

There’s no release date for the first DLC for inZOI, though the statement from last month suggests that it will be released in August. The same statement explained that, at the same time, an update will roll out that improves emotions, expressions, the relationship system, and more meaningful interactions.
Keep in mind that, while in Early Access, inZOI’s DLCs will be free for players who already have the base game.
