Frozen District has revealed the Scooby-Doo DLC for House Flipper 2, and a new content roadmap details what’s coming with it, along with more news on the rest of the year’s updates.
The House Flipper 2 Scooby-Doo DLC is coming out this October, just in time for Halloween. This timing is perfect, as Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma are investigating spooky spots around Pinnacove.
The new DLC will include the following:
- Six new jobs
- Six haunted properties
- New buyers
- Over 500 new items, including ones that are mysterious, retro, mid-century modern, and even Scooby-Doo themed items
- Three themed assemblies
At the same time, an update will introduce custom color picking for items, improvements to the wiring tool, and escape-room mechanics (and items to go with it). Players can watch the Scooby-Doo DLC trailer for House Flipper 2 below:
That’s not all, either. Two more updates, one in summer and one in winter, are headed to players in 2025. The Summer Update will introduce pools, including pool-centered jobs and a new pool house. There will also be a feature to throw and drop items in Story Mode, along with a new way to buy similar items quicker than before. Several quality-of-life updates will be included, too.
The Winter Update will focus on a new winter-themed home and job, along with winter-themed items. There will also be more snow than ever, along with snow shoveling, festive lights, and more fireplaces to choose from.
Other features are planned for this year, though there isn’t a release date for them. Those include the following:
- More buyers and a buyer behavior rework
- New Items category in the Store
- Mod support (specifically for patterns and materials)
- Cars
- Drag and drop feature for colors and materials
According to Frozen District, many of these features were asked for by players on Canny.io. There, players can post feedback and see what developers are working on.
