Mūn Mūn Games and Unikat Label have revealed Out Fishing, a first-person horror fishing game coming to PC.
In Out Fishing, players are trying to make money by catching and selling fish. They’ll need to build and upgrade their camp so they can get to deeper waters. However, the creepy and foggy wilds hold something more sinister, and they’ll need to escape at night.
The game focuses on psychological horror and thrills, as talking fish and spooky environments prove that something else is with players on the remote island. Memories and hallucinations mix to create an unreliable and haunting tale as players search the island.
The island is actually one that the protagonist traveled to often as a child. However, something disappeared there, and players are searching for answers. Those answers seem to come the farther into the wilderness the player goes, but it all comes at the risk of the unnamed dangers that creep up at night.
Out Fishing also includes survival mechanics, though it’s more focused on staying sane and surviving the tension. The day-night cycle plays into this, and it’ll also affect the fish players can catch.

This isn’t the first horror game from solo developer Mūn Mūn Games. Mūn Mūn Games also developed The Daruma Challenge, a platformer that’s tagged as a psychological horror on Steam because of its difficult platforming mechanics designed to break players down.
