Walking Simulator Horror Crime Scene Cleaners Announced

Today, Japanese developer Ribbongamez announced a brand new horror simulator game, Crime Scene Cleaners – not to be confused with Crime Scene Cleaner – would be coming to Steam at some point in the near future.

In this unique psychological sim title, players are put in the shoes of a man who has taken a job as a special cleaner. When you arrive at your first cleaning site alongside your seniors, you witness the scene of a gruesome death, eventually leading to the feeling that someone or something may be watching you from beyond.

The gameplay revolves around investigating the items left around each crime scene as you try to piece together what happened and why there is an unseen presence they can’t seem to shake. The story of Crime Scene Simulator is broken down into three parts, featuring six main endings and several bits of extra content that can be unlocked via exploration.

The video above teases some of the psychological scenes you’ll need to endure in the game, as locations are stricken with maggots, feces, and more gross and grim things you may find at a haunted location where a crime has been committed.

Crime Scene Cleaners is the first game published by Ribbongamez and will be available for Steam at a price point of $4.99 upon its full release – no console release has been stated at this time.
