Honkai: Nexus Anima Announced, Beta Registration Opened

HoYoverse has officially announced Honkai: Nexus Anima, the next game in its Honkai franchise, while also opening beta test registration for iOS and PC players.

Honkai: Nexus Anima is part creature collector, part strategy adventure game. In this new world, a bond called Nexus exists between opposite concepts, like Light and Dark or Life and Death. It keeps the forces of the world balanced.

However, this balance is shattered when something severs the Nexus. This scatters powers around the world in the form of Anima.

Players can bond with Anima creatures, which will unlock abilities on the strategy side that are tied to each Anima’s concepts.

In Honkai: Nexus Anima, players become travelers who have just escaped captivity. They’ll start in a peaceful town before taking off into new realms, where they’ll meet Anima companions.

The companions will help players explore and battle while the player works to unravel their past.

The Nexus Bond Test, the game’s closed beta, is open for registration. Those who play on PC and/or iOS can register on the official website until September 12, 2025. There will be a data wipe at the end of the beta.

The website also has a ton of information on the upcoming characters (including from other franchises, like Blade from Honkai: Star Rail and Kiana from Honkai Impact 3rd), Anima creatures, and more.

HoYoverse has also shared a few screenshots that give a glimpse at the characters, world, and strategic gameplay:
