Honeycomb Releases Relatively Affordable Alpha Flight Controls Lite Yoke for Flight Simulators

Honeycomb Aeronautical released today a new yoke controller for flight simulators, named Alpha Flight Controls Lite.

It’s based on the fairly expensive Alpha model, but streamlines it to shave a chunk of its price, which is certainly welcome, considering that yokes tend to be on the higher end of the price range for flight simulation controllers.

The Alpha Lite costs $199,99, or €199,99 / £169,99 depending on where you live, which provides a good option for simmers who want to try a yoke with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 or X-Plane 12 (or perhaps the upcoming Hercules in DCS World) without having to hurt their bank account too much.

The added bonus is that Honeycomb is an established, reliable brand, so you don’t need to rely on lower-quality options to keep the price reasonable. Honeycomb claims that no sacrifice has been made on build quality and overall experience.

Here’s what you can expect

You can check out what it looks like in the beauty shots below, and purchase it from Honeycomb itself.

The manufacturer will also release a similar Lite version of its popular Bravo Throttle Quadrant, and it should pair well with this controller, although we don’t yet know how much it’ll cost or when it’ll come.
