During a panel at EVO USA 2025 in Las Vegas, Cygames revealed new details about upcoming content and features coming to Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising.
Cygames America boss Motohiro Okubo was on stage during the event, to talk more about the upcoming character Wilnas. Incidentally he’s voiced in English by Xander Mobus, who joins the original Japanese voice actor Masaaki Mzunaka.
Wilnas is the third fighter of the character pass and he’s coming this summer. We already know that we’ll also get Meg in fall 2025 and Ilsa in early 2026. He follows Sandalphon and Galleon.
We get to see two of his moves, Hadron Smash and Volcanic Knee.
Funnily, his weapon skins are for his apron since he doesn’t actually use weapons besides his own body. He’s also among the tallest characters in the game, standing at 210 cm tall. His release date and trailer will be revealed tomorrow during the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising finals at EVO USA 2025.
The EX versions of Gran, Djeeta, and Narmaya have also been revealed. You’ll be able to play them by pressing R1 by selecting their main version. They have different skill sets.
We also get to see art for new costumes for Galleon and Charlotta. They aren’t the only characters with new costumes under development.

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is currently available for PS5, PS4, and PC.
