According to the announcement, the update will be implemented tomorrow, May 15, 2025. It’s numbered 1.59.

It includes four new cars, specifically the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C5) ’01, the Ferrari 812 Superfast ’17, the Honda CR-V e:HEV EX・Black Edition ’21, and the Suzuki Carry KC ’12.

There certainly is quite the variety, including a hypercar, a supercar, an SUV, and even a K-truck from Japan.

The developers also released a trailer showing the new cars. You can watch it below.

That being said, the cars may be the biggest part of the update, but Polyphony always makes sure to add a few bits and bobs of content for players to enjoy in every update.

We also get new World Circuits events as follows:

  • Lightweight K-Cup
    Eiger Nordwand
  • American Clubman Cup 700
    Autódromo de Interlagos
  • Ferrari Circuit Challenge
    Deep Forest Raceway

A new track, specifically the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix Layout, has become available with the AI agent Gran Turismo Sophy.

The inevitable new curation in Scapes has also been added, and it’s titled “Shooting the perfect square.”

Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PS5 and PS4. Polyphony Digital has been updating it regularly since its launch in March 2022.

The game’s esports scene is quite active, and the qualifiers for the World Tour 2025 have started. Of course, you can expect full coverage of the live events here on Simulation Daily, as we did with the 2024 edition.
