Gran Turismo 7 March Update Brings New Cars, Gran Turismo Sophy 2.1, and More

Gran Turismo 7 Aston Martin

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital will release a new update tomorrow (March 27, 2025) to their popular racing simulator Gran Turismo 7.

Like every update, this new one, numbered 1.57, includes a number of new cars, specifically 3.

We’re getting the Aston Martin Vantage ’18, the Mazda CX-30 X Smart Edition ’21, and the Renault Kangoo 1.4 ’01.

The patch also brings a new version of the Gran Turismo Sophy racing AI, updated to version 2.1. It’ll be available for custom races on all supported tracks, exclusively on PS5.

On top of that, it has been trained to support new race settings like tire wear, fuel consumption, pit stops, and more. You can also tune its cars if you so wish.

Completing the update, are the usual additions to the Café, specifically [Extra Menu No. 45] Collection: Suzuki, for Collector Level 35 and above.

The following World Circuit events will be added on top of the Faroe Islands curation in Scapes.

You can check out a trailer below.

Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PS5 and PS4. Polyphony Digital has been updating it regularly since its launch in March 2022.

The game’s esports scene is quite active, and the qualifiers for the World Tour 2025 are about to start. Of course, you can expect full coverage of the live events here on Simulation Daily, as we did with the 2024 edition.
