Today, on the official Gran Turismo TV YouTube channel, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital showed off everything fans can expect in the free Gran Turismo 7 update that is scheduled for October 3, 2024. Alongside some general bug fixes and maintenance, patch 1.52 also features three classic cars: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII GSR MR ‘04, Nissan GT-R Premium edition T-spec ’24, and Toyota Hiace Van DX ‘17.
Gran Turismo 7 patch 1.52 doesn’t just feature new cars and quality-of-life improvements, as three new World Circuts events will be added in the free update:
- Sunday Cup: Tokyo Expressway – Central Clockwise
- Nissan GT-R Cup: Circuit de Sainte-Croix – A
- Evolution Meeting: Kyoto Driving Park – Yamagiwa+Miyabi Reverse / Autodromo Nazionale Monza / Colorado Springs – Lake

In other Gran Turismo 7 news, just last month, Sony Vice President of Global Marketing Isabelle Tomatis revealed that the title would play a significant part in PlayStation’s 30-year celebration. As part of the celebration, a free trial version of the game called My First GT is being created to welcome new players with diverse skill sets.
Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PS5 and PS4. Polyphony Digital has been updating it regularly since its launch in March 2022.
