Today, Polyphony Digital unveiled what is coming later this week in the free February 2025 update for the most recent installment in its hit racing simulation series, Gran Turismo 7.
Gran Turismo 7 update 1.56 is scheduled to be implemented on February 27, 2025. Fans can expect a handful of new content and quality-of-life improvements, including three new cars and three new racing events.
The vehicles range from a beloved BMW to one of the most iconic work vehicles that truck fans will surely love. You can see all three listed right down below.
Cars:
- BMW Z4 3.0i ’03
- Mercedes-Benz Unimog Type 411 ’62
- Peugeot 205 GTI ’88
Events:
- Sunday Cup Classic – Red Bull Ring Short Track
- European Sunday Cup 400 – Grand Valley (South Reverse)
- European FR Challenge 550 Autodrome Lago Maggiore (East)
Update 1.56 is also set to introduce more Sophy-compatible tracks, allowing players to race against the Ai on Autodromo Nazionale Monza and Sardegna – Road Track – B. Aesthetics-wise, the MAZDA3 Gr.4 will now have a new exterior color, Extra Menu is coming to the Café, and Panning will be added as a featured Curation in Scapes.
Since its release on March 22, 2024, Polyphony Digital has consistently updated the racing simulator, including a free demo called My First GT and plenty of free monthly updates like the one that will be released tomorrow, with many more planned for the rest of 2025. Gran Turismo 7 is currently available on PS4 and PS5 for $69.99.
