Gothic 1 Remake Standard Edition will be available for $49.99 on PC and for $59.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Collector’s Edition is priced at $199.99 and includes a 34x24cm Sleeper wall mask, a genuine leather wristband, a genuine leather notebook, the original soundtrack, and the physical game.

Pre-order bonuses also vary depending on whether you get it for console or PC. PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S players will get a free copy of Gothic Classic, which console players can typically play immediately or receive as a physical copy shortly before the remake’s launch, while Digital pre-orders on PC include the Official Soundtrack by Kai Rosenkranz.

Some retailers will also offer a Steelbook for PC pre-orders, though availability varies depending on location.

If you’re new to the series, the remake follows an ongoing conflict between a kingdom and an army of orcs. The king has a high demand for convicts to mine the magic ore in the Valley of Mines, and to make the process of newly convicted criminals being thrown into their new lives meticulous, preparations are needed.

You’ll play as the Nameless Hero and forge your path through a dynamic world teeming with danger, secrets, and choices to make a journey both new and old fans alike will enjoy. The title was originally announced in August at the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2025, marking the first release in the series in well over a decade.

Gothic 1 Remake is scheduled to launch on June 5, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. For more info on this and other upcoming RPGs, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for plenty of updates.
