Today, during a livestream on The Spill, Coffee Stain Publishing announced that the original goatfather would be making his triumphant. That is right, Goat Simulator: Remastered has been announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, launching November 7, 2024.
Fans can now relive the fun of the 2014 title while also enjoying new features, including high-definition graphics, a re-worked menu, and the full DLC collection thanks to Goat Simulator: Remastered, which can be seen below:
- GoatVille – The Big Apple of Goat Simulator, as some would say…
- Goat City Bay – The coastal jewel of northern GoatAsia
- Goat MMO – A fantasy adventure across lands unknown
- Goat Z – Can you survive the apocalypse?
- PAYDAY – Gather your crew and prepare for a heist!
- Waste of Space – Explore the outer reaches of space and see what popular sci-fi references lie within…
- Buck to School – From Goat Simulator Mobile, GoatVille high has a new jock in town
Goat Simulator was originally released in 2014 and became an instant hit with fans due to its wacky premise, broken physics, and odd challenges and antics. In 2022, a sequel, cleverly titled Goat Simulator 3 (skipping the second title as a joke), was released, once again placing players in the shoes of the titular crazy goat, adding numerous challenges and customization options with its new story mode.
The game also featured a four-player online co-op, and the ability to play seven competitive PvP minigames, including Floor is Lava, Prop Hunt, and a football-like mini-game, Hoofball. While it doesn’t look like Goat Simulator: Remastered will feature any of these during its initial launch, it is possible that a multiplayer aspect could be added afterward.
