HoYoverse has held the Genshin Impact Version Luna 6 Special Program, revealing a long-awaited map expansion in Monstadt, a new fae character Linnea, and some of the new events coming with the upcoming update.
To kick things off, Linnea will join the roster as a new five-star Geo bow user. She focuses on providing Geo RES reduction and healing her teammates while also providing off-field Geo damage with her adorable buddy, Lumi.
Linnea can also increase her teammates’ Lunar Crystallize damage. Plus, while she’s exploring, Linnea can use her bow to quickly gather ore and capture small animals.
Linne will be featured on Phase 1 of the Version Luna 6 banner alongside Chasca. Phase 2 will see a rerun for Lauma and Nefer. Phase 2 will also feature a Fontaine Chronicled Wish banner, with Emilie, Clorinde, Navia, Sigewinne, and Lyney.

Linnea’s character story quest will be added in Version Luna 6, and it centers around a companion competition. The Traveler and Linnea are both invited to a tournament where they must use an animal companion to attack in turn-based battles, and players will again meet their Tepetlisaur friend from Natlan.
Genshin Impact Version Luna 6 will also take players to Dornman Port, an area of Monstadt that has been talked about since the beginning of the game. While exploring, players will come across both old friends and new characters. Jean and Barbara’s father, Cardinal of Daybreak Seamus Pegg, will also appear for the first time in this update in a new anecdote.
With this also comes the release of an abandoned sanatorium. There, players will meet Zeitland, a character who needs help and brings them to a Statue of the Seven that takes them into the sky.
Above the skies of Monstadt lies the Temple of Space. This is essentially a personal collection/museum of Asmoday, the ruler of sky of space and one of the Four Shades. There, players can meet a Watcher who can take players to an Apathic Interval space if (or more likely when) they’re caught exploring.
There’s another Watcher who wanders the lands outside Dornman Port and who serves as the new boss for Version Luna 6.

Of course, Genshin Impact Version Luna 6 will feature several events. A trade show is being hosted in Nod-Krai, where friends from around Teyvat will appear to trade pretty much any items they can find, including weapons. There are also several minigames at the trade show to enjoy. Completing the event also gives players a chance to invite Jahoda to their roster.
There’s also a new “Flash Cut” media event in Fontaine, where players can film characters and earn rewards. Last but not least is a Monstadt mapping event with Mika.
Genius Invokation TCG is also getting an update, adding Dahlia, Aino, and more to the card game. Milliastra Wonderland is also getting updated, turning the lobby into a new dragon-esque domain that matches the featured outfits and updating the editor to make special effects more available and easier to use.

As always, there are a few codes that players can use to get rewards for the Special Program. They expire on March 30, 2026, at 12 am (UTC -4):
- LinneaClassTime: 100x Primogems, 10x Mystic Enhancement Ore
- TempleofSpace: 100x Primogems, 5x Hero’s Wit
