HoYoverse has aired the Genshin Impact Luna 2 Special Program, detailing what the Version of the game will have in store, including featured characters, story teasers, the new UGC mode Miliastra Wonderland, and more.

To kick things off, Genshin Impact Version Luna 2 will bring the factions of Nod-Krai together as they fight one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri’ah, Rerir, after he attacks the Damselette. This includes the Knights of Favonius, the Frostmoon Scions, and even the Fatui.

Nefer, as the leader of the neutral Crematorium of Secrets, will be the first featured five-star character in Genshin Impact Version Luna 2. She has the overworld ability to find secrets about people, and a new message board in the Crematorium of Secrets will pop up. Both Nefer and Jahoda will be able to interact with the board (though Jahoda may ask the Traveler for help sometimes).

These secrets and rumors found can be given to Katherine for access to side stories.

As for combat, she focuses on using Lunar-Charged Dendro cores to dish out damage. Her Elemental Skill dashes her forward and puts her in a special state where she can consume these cores to dish out more damage with the help of her spectres.

Nefer will run alongside Furina for the first half of Version Luna 2, while Arlecchino and Zhongli will be available in the second half.

There will also be new stories and quests added to the Selenic Chronicles in Columbina’s abode in Version Luna 2. Genius Invokation TCG is also getting new cards, including ones for Varessa and Ifa.

An event in Sumeru will take players back to the nation after an incident surrounding Layla. At the same time, the Akademiya will be expanding and can use the players’ help. Other members of the Sumeru crew will ask for help, such as Dehya and Faruzan. There will be plenty of rewards, including the chance to add Collei to the player’s lineup.

Sumeru NPCs have also traveled to Natlan for another event, where players will take on a dancing challenge to earn more rewards. Saurians will even help as the cutest dancing partners in Teyvat.

Another event, Saurian Sojourn, will pair players with Saurians to take on challenges for rewards.

That’s not all — the Genshin Impact Miliastra Wonderland is on the way. The new game mode can be accessed via the Paimon menu or in the upper right-hand corner. Octavia, or the mysterious Hexenzirkel Mage O, has created this world.

Players will create their own character, which is known as the Manekin. These characters can also travel around Teyvat, so players can take pictures of them anywhere. As part of the update, these pictures can also be used as profile images.

These customizable characters can also fight, following the Traveler’s current element to do so. They level up and ascend with the Miliastra Wonderland level of the player, offering rewards for doing so.

Outfit pieces will also be part of a new Miliastra Pass. This new battle pass will be included in the Gnostic Hymn battle pass from the main game. Outfit pieces can also be crafted with new materials after getting blueprints from a new gacha banner, the Standard Ode banner. Additionally, there’s an in-game store where players can buy outfits and sets.

Miliastra Wonderland will have a multiplayer mode, where players can meet other players. There are public and private lobbies where players can take on new games and the UGC maps. Players will be able to create their own maps with the in-game editing tool to create their own mini games, which has earnings and rewards incentives for popular maps.

The Miliastra Wonderland will have different themes for every update. The first one focuses on Halloween in Candlelit Revelry, and the Standard Ode banner will include a wizard/witch outfit to match. A trailer for the theme can be seen below:

There are also a few screenshots teasing the lobby and some of the outfits that will be available:

Of course, with the Special Program comes in-game codes for rewards, though they expire on October 13 at 12 am UTC-4. They are as follows:
