HoYoverse announced earlier today that the Mikawa Flower Festival would be returning to Genshin Impact as a part of the Version 5.4 update Moonlight Amidst Dreams. The update is set to be released on February 12, 2025, for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Android, and iOS.
The Mikawa Flower Festival is a centuries-old event where humans and youkai work together to present exciting mini-games, with a special appearance by Raiden Shogun. There will be four games in total, and they include meeting familiar faces in the open world, a film editing challenge, a multiplayer fishing game, and a combat event.
Genshin Impact Version 5.4 also introduces a brand new character. Dedicated clinical psychologist and major shareholder of the Aisa Bathhouse Yumemizuki Mizuki joins the roster as a 5-star Anemo Catalyst user.
When in her Dreamdrifter state, Mizuki deals AoE Anemo DMG and further enhances her team’s Swirl DMG when nearby party members hit opponents with Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro attacks. On top of this, her Elemental Burst summons a Mini Baku that creates Yumemi Style Special Snacks, which recover HP and deal AoE Anemo DMG.
Event wishes for Moonlight of Dreams are 1st: Yumemizuki Mizuki, Sigewinne, 2nd: Furina, Wriothesley; Mizuki will join the Standard Wish banner after Version 5.5. The update will also add Level Up Plans to the Training Guide, which will coincide with other improvements regarding simplifying character development.
Genshin Impact is currently available on Android, iOS, PS4, PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S as a free-to-play title. For more information, including future updates, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily.
