Gang of Dragon is set in Kabukicho, the iconic nightlife district of Shinjuku, Tokyo, placing players in the shoes of Shin Ji-seong, a high-ranking member of a Korean crime syndicate based in the district. He soon finds himself caught in the middle of the chaos of its underworld conflicts, forging intense, human connections that push him to confront his own sense of purpose along the way.

Shin is portrayed by renowned Asian actor Ma Dong-seok, best known for his work in Train to Busan, the Roundup series, and The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil movies. Alongside his voice, the actor lends his intimidating demeanor and stature to the character, who uses overwhelming physical power and weapons to defeat his enemies.

The screenshots above show off a bit of that combat, including an intense chase scene, which takes place from a third-person perspective. Gameplay will mostly consist of brutal hand-to-hand strikes, precise blade attacks, gunplay, and high-impact vehicle action against various enemies across the city.

Gang of Dragon was originally revealed during The Game Awards 2025, and is already considerably into its development cycle. While we don’t have an exact release date or window yet, it has been revealed to be coming to Steam, with platform releases for Xbox Series X|S and PS5 also likely in the works.
