FaZe Media goes back to its roots with another multi-year partnership between the organization and energy drink group G Fuel.
Earlier today, FaZe Media announced that it was bringing back the partnership between itself and G Fuel with a multi-year, multi-million-dollar licensing deal. FaZe Media now has an equity stake in G Fuel, and the energy drink group is the biggest sponsor for FaZe Media.
Part of what this partnership entails is renaming the FaZe House to the FaZe G Fuel House during the September Subathon. Back in 2014, the FaZe house was sponsored by G Fuel, and the name is a direct reference to it.
This is the first time that FaZe Media has signed a long-term partnership deal, and both companies are excited. FaZe Banks, the founder of FaZe Clan and CEO of FaZe Media, explained how much the partnership means to the organization:
“Reuniting with G FUEL is a full circle moment for us. As we focus on reconnecting with our roots, this partnership represents more than just a business deal—it’s a revival of the legendary history from the OG FaZe days. We’re excited to kick off this new chapter with G FUEL and look forward to creating content and new products together.”
G Fuel CEO Bryan Crowley also has high hopes for the partnership:
“I’ve always felt that the original G FUEL and FaZe partnership was best-in-class, so working with Banks and the FaZe team to reignite this collaboration and deepen our relationship within our diverse community of fans, customers, creators, and partners is exciting. This comes at a perfect time; with FaZe pushing boundaries and nurturing the next generation of content creators, we are continuing to innovate with new products and categories to meet the needs of our evolving customer base. As our partnership takes shape, we’re excited to drive engagement across the global gaming and creator communities.”
Fans can look forward to co-branded products from G Fuel, which will very likely include new cups and powders. Previously, G Fuel partnered with FaZe Rug to create a new flavor, Sour Blue Chug Rug.
