Today, Microsoft hosted its newest Xbox Developer Direct, and they had a few really interesting games to show off.
The livestream started with Forza Horizon 6, which brings the beloved open-world driving franchise to Japan.
We get to see the beautiful scenery, and we learn that the game will have over 550 cars at launch. The developers also announced that the GR GT by Toyota Gazoo Racing will be the cover car.
On top of that, there will be an open-world persistent estate that will let players share their creativity with friends, and even building will be entirely co-op.
Last, but certainly not least, we learn the release date. The game is coming on May 19, 2026, for PC and Xbox Series X|S, while the PS5 version will come later this year.
Below you can see a gameplay teaser and experience the whole presentation.
The second game showcased is Beast of Reincarnation by Game Freak, the creators of Pokémon. This time around, the Japanese developer isn’t held back by exclusivity for antiquated hardware, and it certainly shows.
The game takes place in Japan in 4026 and follows the adventure of Emma and her dog Koo as they explore the post-apocalyptic land and fight against the powerful Malefacts.
The game is coming in summer 2026 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS4. It’ll also be on Game Pass from day one, like all the games presented today.

The third game was announced by Double Fine, and it’s Kiln, an “online multiplayer party brawler.”
It mixes creation and destruction in a way that certainly feels worthy of Double Fine’s fame.

As the fourth feature, we finally get to take an extensive look at Fable, including the traditional freedom of creating your character and shaping them up with your choices.
You’ll be able to interact with every villager. All of them are interactive and fully voiced. The choices you make won’t just define the player character, but also the world.
It’s coming out in Fall 2026 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5, and you can watch the presentation below.
