Specifically, the agreement involves the launch of a publishing business joining the resources of Cre8tFun and Brave Group‘s metaverse content label BEverse with the goal of supporting the creation of content for Epic Games’ Fortnite.

The initiative aims to support Japanese developers and content and present them on the worldwide stage offered by Fortnite.

Said support includes partial subsidy of development costs allowing developers to focus on development, marketing and production support (leveraging Cre8tFun’s know-how and Brave Group’s marketing resources), revenue sharing, and provision of the latest technology and assets such as motion capture studios and virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, and 3D animation.

You may be familiar with Cre8tFun’s content on Fortnite including Baby Run!! (Island code: 2304-0554-5967), Rainbow Academy (Island code: 5202-5247-4984), and 100 Level Deathrun (Island code: 0650-9384-4879).

Brave Group’s activities include a variety of fields like IP business, Vtubers, eSports, the virtual music label Riot Music, education, and more.

Epic Games has been working on the transformation of Fortnite from a battle royale game into a full-fledged Metaverse for quite a while, and now players can enjoy tons of content created both by companies and individual developers.

Incidentally, Epic Games has just launched a brand new season in the game, focusing on Marvel’s popular villain, Doctor Doom.

The developer is also engaged in legal battles against Apple, which just resulted in the return of Fortnite to iOS in Europe, and against Google, now with the support of the FTC.
