According to the announcement, the event titled “Disney Horizons Live from D23” will be tied to Disney’s real-world event and aired exclusively on Fortnite’s Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase island.

Doors will open on August 10 at 7:30 p.m. PDT or 10:30 p.m. EDT and the stream itself will start at 8:30 p.m. PDT or 11:30 p.m EDT. The code of the island is 7908-6413-2516.

That being said, you don’t need to be there exactly on time, as the presentation will be available on repeat until August 16.

Anyone who visits the island for at least 10 minutes will even be able to bring home free goodies in the form of the Peelverine Plush Back Bling (which you can see above) and even XP.

It’s worth mentioning that, like battle pass items from now on, the back bling won’t be exclusive and could be sold in the shop at a later time.

At the moment, we don’t know exactly what will be revealed, but it could be tied to the massive deal between Epic Games and Disney announced back in February and seen as another big step on Fortnite’s accelerated path toward becoming a full-fledged Metaverse.

Disney is investing a whopping $1.5 billion to acquire an equity stake in Epic Games and launch an “all-new open, persistent and social universe that will bring Disney stories and experiences to life” linked with Fortnite.

Said persistent universe promises to ” offer a multitude of opportunities for consumers to play, watch, shop, and engage with content, characters, and stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Avatar, and more.”
