Epic Games has released the teaser trailer for Fortnite Chapter Seven Season Two: Showdown, and it came alongside the season’s release date: March 19.
The Fortnite Chapter Seven Season Two teaser trailer takes players to an iced-over fortress. From there, players get several glimpses at a new version of The Ice King, who was first introduced to Fortnite back in Season Seven in 2018.
The Foundation, another popular Fortnite skin from Chapter Three Season One in 2022, was also shown off at the end of the teaser. He was encased in ice, alongside Captain America, Orelia, and The Prisoner (who was also released in Season Seven, the same season that introduced The Ice King).

Another look at the return of The Ice King was shared on X (formerly Twitter). This seems to be a precursor to the teaser trailer, as we see the Ice King encased in ice that cracks. Considering the way he looks in the teaser trailer and this short video, a new version of The Ice King may include some type of ice armor.
Players can tune into Fortnite on March 19, 2026, to join the action in Chapter Seven Season Two: Showdown themselves. More information and the official season trailer should be revealed before then.
