Today, Aerosoft and LKA Rhineland-Palatinate announced Forensics: Crime Scene Detective, a brand new simulator that lets you step into the role of forensic specialists uncovering the truth behind complex criminal cases in both the field and the labs.
In Forensics: Crime Scene Detective, players will enter apartments, offices, and basements where unspeakable things have happened, equipped with professional-grade equipment to search for clues. These clues include an inconspicuous fingerprint on a wine glass, a deleted message on a smartphone, or even a tiny splash of blood that undermines a statement.
Once evidence is secured, you’ll head to the lab and compare DNA profiles, reconstruct bullet trajectories, decrypt digital devices, and piece together the puzzle to form a clear picture. Your analyses incriminate perpetrators or exonerate the innocent, so you’ll want to make sure you don’t miss any important details.

Your work determines the fate of suspects, so find out if it was self-defense, murder, an accident, or a staged crime scene. Each mission in Forensics: Crime Scene Detective is also inspired by real-life scenarios and based on the experiences of real experts from the Rhineland-Palatinate State Criminal Police Office.
The game portrays forensic work as authentically as possible, letting you experience cases that reflect real life: sober, logical, and relentless in their pursuit of evidence.
At the moment, there is no exact release date or window for Forensics: Crime Scene Detective, though it is listed as coming soon for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
