We have plenty of content for Microsoft Flight Simulator, especially considering that Thursdays are update days for the official marketplace, and a rare release for Lockheed Martin Prepar3D.

As usual, every day here on Simulation Daily, we keep you posted with a handy roundup article about all the relevant flight simulation news we can find.

Incidentally, today we also published the second episode of our weekly “How to Get Into Flight Simulation” series, dedicated to finding, purchasing, and installing add-ons, both paid and free.

But without further ado, I leave you with the news. Incidentally, if you’re interested in more general gaming news, we have a roundup for these as well.

Van’s RV-8 for Microsoft Flight Simulator Released

SimWorks Studios released their Van’s Aircraft RV-8 kit plane, and it’s available on the official marketplace for $19.99 on top of the developer’s own store.

It includes the following features.

  • 7 included custom liveries plus a white template
  • 180hp IO-360 engine with 2 and 3-bladed propeller options and different response

Fokker F28 Fellowship Released for Xbox

Microsoft Flight Simulator F28

More good news for Microsoft Flight Simulator users on Xbox Series X|S comes from Just Flight, with the release of another advanced vintage airliner, the Fokker F28 Fellowship.

This aircraft, which has been available for PC for quite a while, can now be purchased for Xbox as well on the official marketplace for $69.99. Do keep in mind that due to its complexity and the lack of cutting-edge present-day avionics, it does have a learning curve.

Jackson Hole Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Gets New Screenshots

Dreamflight Studios released three new screenshots of Jackson Hole Airport (KJAC) in Wyoming, United States.

We also learn that the airport is entering its beta phase, so its release shouldn’t be far off.

Vitória Airport and City for Microsoft Flight Simulator Released

GearDown Simulations released this package including Vitória–Eurico de Aguiar Salles International Airport (SBVT) and landmarks improving the nearby Brazillian city.

It’s available as I’m writing on the Official Marketplace for the extremely affordable discounted price of €6.49 (at some point it should return to €8.99). The page on GearDown Simulation’s own store is also ready to go, sales haven’t started yet.

The version on the official marketplace is compatible with both PC and Xbox.

UK2000 Scenery released its rendition of Cornwall Airport Newquay (EGHQ) in the UK.

It’s available on the Official Marketplace for €15.99 and on Simmarket. It includes the following features.

It’s available on Simmarket for $18.48 with the following features.
