Fenix Airbus A320 Updated With New Installer and More
Fenix Simulations released a brand-new installer and a new update for its popular rendition of the Airbus A320 ceo. It efficiently breaks files into parts speeding up the update process considerably compared to the old installer.
We also learn that the team plans to consolidate the livery manager into the new installer in the future.
In terms of the update to the aircraft itself, the cockpit wind has been overhauled with new recordings. Another area that has been updated is the soundscape of the wings.
In the CFM56, this includes all new N1 bearing recordings, airflow recordings, behind-intake buzzsaw and N2 recordings. On the IAE further sound-balancing has been done, along with new airflow recordings, buzzsaw improvements and on all variants a new window-vibration/rattle at high power settings.
The sounds of the engines have been tweaked as well, and now atmospheric conditions influence them, as you can hear in the video above.
Another new feature is the addition of options for the Vickers and Parker electric hydraulic pump, with different sounds.
Moving on to systems and flight model, the ADIRU wind simulation has been improved to be based on the sensors of the aircraft. The fly-by-wire system has also been adjusted to be smoother in pitch while retaining precision. You can find the full patch notes on the official website.
