Brian Foote has worked with Fireshine Games for over a year now, joining the company back in January of 2024 as the Chief Business Development Officer. However, before that, he spent 23 years in the games industry.

From 2001 to 2011, Foote worked as a buyer/senior buyer at Entertainment UK, Sainsburys Supermarkets, and Amazon. Afterward, he worked at GAME Stores Group and Microsoft before landing at PlayStation for seven years. There, he worked his way up the ladder until he became the Head of Business Planning and Platform for Global Third Party Relations.

Before heading to Fireshine Games, Foote also worked as the Director of Business Strategy at Team17 Digital.

His plethora of experience and time at Fireshine Games suggests great things are around the corner for the publishing group as he becomes CEO.

Foote shared his excitement for what’s to come:

“Fireshine Games has achieved rapid growth in its digital business over recent years and 2024 brought major success with the releases of Core Keeper and Shadows of Doubt. We have built a strong publishing team, coupled with a solid business foundation which has enabled us to weather the challenging industry backdrop. We have a fantastic release schedule for 2025 and beyond which we look forward to sharing with players. At the same time we will continue to provide full publishing and co-publishing services to new and existing partners.”

Fireshine Games has several upcoming games on the radar, such as AILA and Tales of Seikyu. Tales of Seikyu is a super-cute fantasy farming adventure that’s coming to early access later this year.

It’s also helped the physical publication of titles like Lies of P (published by Neowiz), Balatro (published by PlayStack and recently swept several categories and was nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2024) and Sniper Elite: Resistance (published by Rebellion).

Fireshine Games is based in London, and its goal is to find innovative indie games to players worldwide.
