Square Enix released new screenshots of the upcoming patch 7.25 for its popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV.
The update, which is coming in the night between May 26 and May 27, will be the last large content drop for the 7.2X cycle of updates, and its main feature will be the Occult Crescent field content with its field area, the South Horn.
This will bring a brand new way to level up with classic subclasses and new rewards, including gear that you can see in the screenshots.
The new content will also usher in a new type of relic weapons, the Phantom Weapons, that players will be able to level up across the next few updates via the dedicated questline and likely quite a bit of grinding.
Lastly, we get to take another look at the Mamool Ja Society Quests.

If you’re unfamiliar with Final Fantasy XIV, it’s currently available for PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X|S. The latest expansion, titled “Dawntrail,” was released in early July 2024.
