Everyone knows that glamour (and in part housing) is the true endgame of Final Fantasy XIV, so when a new outfit is revealed, it’s a big deal.

Today, during the local version of the Live Letter livestream, the Korean publisher of Square Enix’s MMORPG ActozSoft has revealed a new glamour that will be released on the local cash shop with the upcoming version 7.1.

If you’re wondering, the Korean servers are completely separate from the global ones, and they’re slightly behind in releases, so local fans are still waiting for 7.1.

The new outfit has an interesting “operative” theme to it, and comes in two versions. It’ll be sold when 7.1 releases in 3 packages. The hat and gloves will form the first package, and then two versions of the top, bottoms, and footwear will be sold in two separate packages.

One will have a fully covering sweater, long trousers, and boots, while the other will have a shirt with a small window on the back, capri trousers, and shoes. All the packages will be gender-neutral, so you’ll be able to wear whatever you want.

You can check them out below.

Those who play on the global servers won’t get the outfit for now, but this kind of regional glamour often makes the jump over to the global version, so not all hope is lost. For now, all we can do is pine after it.

Final Fantasy XIV is currently available for PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X|S. The latest expansion, titled “Dawntrail” was released in early July 2024.

The game is one of the pillars of Square Enix’s lineup and does wonders for its otherwise shaky financials, as revealed a few days ago.

Recently, the developer revealed the first details of version 7.2 “Seekers of Eternity”, which will hit the global servers late next month.
