SNK had multiple exciting announcements today, starting with Mr. Karate’s upcoming release for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and the release of World Heroes Perfect on Steam.
To start with, Mr. Karate will be joining the lineup of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as the fifth DLC fighter in Season Pass 2. The Art of Fighting fighter will be joining later this month.
SNK has previously announced that a new Art of Fighting game is on the way, and a mysterious teaser about Mr. Karate came late last year. An extended version of the teaser was released a few days ago, which shows the fighter’s look in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
Mr. Karate’s release lines up with Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ first anniversary, and the Legend Edition of the game (which includes Season Pass 1 and 2, therefore will include Mr. Karate) will be 40% off at the time.

That’s not all — World Heroes Perfect, the 2D arcade fighting game originally from 1995, was released on Steam today. The game features 19 different fighters who are inspired by historical figures.
The Steam release also includes an online battling mode, a Practice Mode, and a Gallery Mode that has some of the original artwork. Online battles allow for lobbies with up to nine players, and there are several tournament formats.
Hidden characters like Son Gokku, Neo-Dio, and Zeus are also available.
World Heroes Perfect is available on PC with a 25% discount until May 8. This is the third arcade classic that SNK has brought to modern audiences as part of the NeoGeo Premium Selection label.
