Today, No Ceiling Games released a new patch for its solo- and multi-player restaurant sim, Fast Food Simulator. Update v0.3.0 brings a handful of new features, improvements, adjustments, and bug fixes, including the long-awaited and wanted addition of a Personal Banlist.
Players will now have the ability to ban people from their servers so that they can’t rejoin and troll. Alongside this, Fast Food Simulator update v0.3.0 adds in AI Restocker, refilling soda machine (Bag-in-box, BIB Rack), pause in singleplayer, day and difficulty in the lobby listings.
These small quality-of-life additions are sure to have a positive impact on employee morale, especially since they are paired with adjustments like increasing the day duration limit to 15. Player feedback has also led the developers to fix numerous issues like chicken or nuggets turning into fries and burger trays not being placed under burger tables.
Fast Food Simulator originally launched into Steam early access on December 10, 2024, late last year. As the name suggests, the game puts players in charge of a fast-food restaurant, tasking them and up to six other players to keep a fast-food joint running smoothly.
The gameplay experience revolves around the realistic operation of authentic drink machines, grills, and fryers, meaning you need to maintain the quality of the equipment while also taking care of the customers. The indie simulation title found success pretty quickly, requiring the developer to not only roadmap new and interesting content for 2025, but to also think about bulking up on their staff to meet the demand.
There is no current timetable for Fast Food Simulator’s full release. For more news on simulators, check out Skingdom: Ski Resort Tycoon and Architect Life: A House Design Simulator.
